Personalize your Notebook. Everytime you open your Sony VAIO® notebook, you'll see
your custom engraved message. With an area that accommodates approximately 30
characters*, you can create your own personal message.
As an elegant touch for a gift or an ideal spot for an inspirational message, the engraving is
tasteful and tailored just for you. Engraving also provides an extra measure of security, making it
easy to distinguish your notebook from others and deter theft at the same time.
*Actual number of characters that will fit depends on your message, as certain characters
take up more space than others. Actual measurement is done when you enter your message in
the configurator. If your message is too long, you will see an error message with instruction to edit.
Please make sure your spelling is correct as shown.
Engraved notebooks cannot be returned.
The 30-day return period does not apply to engraved products. These
products may not be returned for refund or exchange unless they contain defects in materials or
workmanship or are otherwise returnable under applicable warranty provisions.
Sony's VAIO notebook limited warranty does not cover replacement of engraving. In
the event your engraved VAIO notebook receives service under Sony's limited warranty or any
extended service plan offered by a third party, use of necessary replacement parts may eliminate
the engraving on the notebook.
