Living the Sony Lifestyle!
They have fixed the wifi issue. I have no problem connecting to my network. Again and Again!
I have 2 Sony TVs and Home theater set up and the DASH. I have been wanting this tablet for along time. I mainly use a Blackberry Playbook for work with the BB10 Phone. If my need were not so business slanted I wouldn't buy anything else but Sony products. The Xperia will now be my home command center. FINALLY ! Thanks Sony! I am in the IT business and around electronics, computers and printing equipment every day and really Sony has been great. I have a XBR 6 tv that is 4 years old and a 3dHx800 that is two years years , both amaze me. Esp the XBR 6 , I use it for my main computer 32 inch screen. It has stayed flawless since day one. I even use it to play hardware demanding flight Sims from DCS. The Xperia gets me deep into the Android system. I don't like some of the apps that nag and advertise movies like one of the angry bird apps. Google statements about apps is also scary about all the info they want to collect, you really want to try and limit these company's spying of your personal information. Sony Please fix the Dash! Bring back Radio functions and ability to wake to a streaming radio station we pick. The c10 Dash used to be great. but the server move and other things have caused too much to happen to it.
Sony please expand and integrate into the New Blackberry phones and Tablets. I am sure there is room for your apps and things there. Allow us to integrate all of our Sony products with the New Blackberry BB10 Systems! They rock and do not come with all the baggage and lag that the Android system have. You know the QNX runs critical systems on this planet, Android does not.

Very happy with purchase, but....
I guess I too am a "Sony Loyalist," my son jokes that I have Sony tattooed on my butt somewhere. I love my tablet, and I find almost new things to do with it every week. However, out of the box my headphone jack provided a lot of static (I think this has to do with the way headphones don't snap in) and within 3 months, it had quit completely. It was a covered repair (and I advocate getting the warranty plan, anyways) but it seems like a design flaw, not just bad wiring.
The design-by-committee problem strikes again, with the port cover for the side attached by a piece of plastic to the unit with the cover for the place you need to plug in a charger not attached at all, and just screaming to be lost. A future design improvement would be to make this little plug also attached, as well as covering the headphone jack for true splashproof use.
Although I had a very long customer service phone call, this is the second time I've used Sony's repair services, and they are fast and courteous.

I guess that the people with problems just need help.TV app is fun,works cable and even a 13 year old Toshiba home theater system.Throw some pics to your smart Sony ! Check out add on extras like my 32 gig card.and stands.Picture not as good as ipad ,but I didn't spend all that money !

don't buy unless you want to spend a half hour or more trying to reconnect after sleep mode then they told me to try the 64 gig it was built better. mine is going back after 2 days and guess who has to pay the shipping to send back their junk
