impressive
Last few years been wanting a HGTV and last week I finally made a the right choice...Sony. I hope it will be as impressive 5-10 years from now and if so, I'll continue my Sony purchase's.

Great Telivision
Bought this TV about 2 days ago, And after playing with the settings just a little the picture is crystal clear. What a great TV. Would recommend this TV 10 times over

Great Buy
I purchased this television on 10/21/11 and this was one of the best decisions I have made. I searched and searched for a television that would replace my dinosaur Sanyo 55 and this one is absolutely brilliant. I am not a gamer, and do not care about internet connectivity, however I do love sports and this TV gives me a whole new viewing experience. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone in the market for a new television.

Quality Lacking
I bought this Sony TV after my EX500 broke. This TV is basically the same as the EX500 except its made cheaper. The power cord is shorter and does not disconnect from the TV making wall mounting a real pain. I still do not know what Bravia engine is inside the TV. I asked three different Sony reps and each gave a different answer. The answers ranged from Bravia 2, to Bravia 3, to X Reality. I am pretty sure it's a Bravia 2 but there is nothing that says this anywhere in the manual or on the box. When it was delivered by Fed Ex they left the pallet in my garage for me to throw away. It's also a real hassle trying to deal with the reps after you buy it on-line. You are better off buying the TV through your local Best Buy. Also, the finish around the TV is very shiny which can cause some distraction. Allso, the Energy Guide sticker is directly placed on the TV, so if you are not careful removing it, your TV will get that sticky ugly look where the sticker was. The one pro to the TV is that it has a matte finish which does reduce the glare. I've only had this TV for a couple days so I can't comment on the reliability, but usually Sony products are reliable so we will see.
