do not buy this rubbish laptop!
Don?t buy these rubbish laptops, especially at Sony store at Woodbury outlet. Sony only tricks you with powerful specifications but nothing in performance. The graphic card and screen are not be able to open picture with high resolution, so we cannot do photo editing in this laptop. I had this laptop only for 1 week and then I want to return this rubbish laptop but the Sony store give charge 10% because they thought this laptop is good. Please don?t buy this laptop anymore.

Sony is loosing its charm
I am a huge sony fan. Everything inside my house is sony. I have 2 sony laptops already, One is E series and one is the older F series.
I decided to upgrade the F series that i have with this one assuming that it is also manufactured to the same standards that sony once had but it was a huge disappointment. Lets start with the screen, IT HAS DEAD PIXELS.
They Keyboard keys stick and the numeric keypad only works once in a while.
most importantly the CAMERA DOES NOT WORK.
I am a software engineer mysylf and after exhausting all the troubleshooting i contacted sony support. When i contacted them first the agent knew a little bit as to what he was doing and did all the work that i had already done and failed to get the webcam working.
I restored the entire laptop and contacted sony again and i was told to contact my nearest repair center and there is no service center within 200 miles of where i live. I was then told that i would need to ship this laptop back to sony AT MY OWN EXPENSE and they would`nt even replace it. All they would do is fix it even though the laptop is only a few hours old and as per the agent A FEW DEAD PIXELS ARE NORMAL. I am sorry to say but this was the last thing i ever expected from sony.

The Best Laptop
This is my second F model and I love it.
I try the SA series and nothing close to be like this series F. Super Fast work with No heat or noise, all I can said is the Best. Im happy customer of Sony!

Fast, solid, good
I have been using this computer for a couple of months now. It is way way better, faster and nicer than my old one. There are many good things about it, including an easily accessed volume control
I am currently using it with a larger screen, running both screens at once, which works very well.
I have just one criticism, why or why did they have to make such a monster of a power adapter? My old Dell was a 17 inch screen with the same power draw, and their adapter was way smaller. This power unit is roughly 6 by 3 by 2, and it is heavy. It seems way over size compared with the computer. I have been able to by a third party 12-volt adapter, but cannot find a smaller mains power supply. If this is to be a real travel machine I think this is a serious disadvantage. If it was not for that I would have given it 5 stars
