Amazing Photos!
As an avid photographer and a beginning youtube movie-maker, I love this camera. It autofocuses to what I want (either macro or just regular pics). Also, it has reasonable night photos, which is rare in point and shoot cameras. During video, it focuses DURING the video so that the once-in-a-lifetime clip will not be awkwardly out of focus. Overall, this is a must-get. An extra battery is nice for hiking trips or other itineraries that have no access to charging capabilities.
Love this camera.

I find this very simple & takes great pics & videos. Holds lots of images and keeps a charge well.

Multiple Use Review
First, let me explain my 5 out of 5 rating. I based the rating on the comparison of price vs. quality and not the comparison of this product vs other products.
PROS:
I have used this camera in A LOT of different situations... I live in FL and used it at the beach, I travel to NYC and I have used it in the snow, I have also used it at automotive auctions both outdoors and indoors, and I have used it at theme parks when we take our daughter. In every situation the pictures and video have come amazing. This was one thing I was worried about because you usually only get what you pay for and I am the type of person who will only watch movies on blu-ray in 1080p and can't stand a "good" quality image. It has to be a "GREAT" quality image to meet my expectations and this camera has done that.
Keep in mind the "Out of the box" settings are not the best and you will need to change some of the settings on the camera in order to get the most out of the quality of this camera.
Prior to purchasing this camera I read some of the other reviews on here and they seem to be very in-accurate reviews. One of them gave this camera 1 star only because it didn't come with a memory card. Well, usually with a digital camera you will want to check the box to see if it comes with one and if a camera doesn't then you should be prepared to purchase one. I purchased the 8GB sony duo card and I have held multiple videos 1min+ in length along with over 100 pictures in the highest quality all on the same card. Nor did it cost me anywhere near $50. The 8gB sony card was only $20 at best buy.
Also, I really enjoy the fact that I can easily fit this in my jeans pocket and the fact that Sony sells a clear protective cover for the LCD display. But, I wouldn't recommend carry the camera around in your pocket very often as it is made out of plastic and not metal.
I will def. be purchasing both the mount for the handlebar on my harley and the tripod as this is a good enough Video Camera to use on a regular bases(as long as you have a large enough memory card).
CONS:
The only cons I have on this camera is 1) It only has a 4x Optical zoom. I refuse to record video or take pictures using digital zoom as it stretches pixels and gives you less clarity in your photo/video. But, I have not had a reason to need to zoom in past the 4x optical zoom. So, this isn't so much as a con for me as it might be to other purchasers.
2) Being that the video is in 720p and you can watch the videos directly from this camera to the tv, I wish they would have included an hdmi cable for the camera. BUT, being that the camera is only $100 and you are already getting way more with this camera than what you are paying for I have no problem hunting one down and paying for it.
Final Thoughts:
For the price, you really can't go wrong with this camera. Me, my wife, friends and family are all highly impressed with this camera, being that the camera only cost $100.
