Best Video Blogging Device I had always been wanting to get a dedicated video blogging device but nothing like the front screen that Bloggie Duo has that could motivate me to do the final purchase. The ability to see what exactly is being recorded is just amazing. Before having my Bloggie Duo, framing was always a big problem when I wanted to record myself introducing something on my non-camera-holding hand. The LED light is awesome enough for me to video blog even in the dark. At first I was like many of you guys who were hesitating about the shorter battery life and recording time when compared to other models. However, 2 hours of recording is actually A LOT of recording time considering the fact that you would probably store all the footage that you shot during the day to your computer at the end of the day. Just imagine that you have to go through 2 hours of footage at the end of every day just so you can have them edited. 2 hours IS MORE THAN ENOUGH! I would recommend this device to any video blogger! Bloggie Duo is in my pocket whenever I am not in my room so I am always ready to record anything that pop up! January 25, 2012
a very good, portable pocket camcorder i could have save more money if i had bought online, but im still satisfied with the buy. It takes good crisp 5-megapixel pictures, MP4 HD videos, and has a very good audio quality. the only reason why i chose Bloggie HD Duo over the Bloggie HD live camera was because the Duo has 2 LCD screens and that I don't like touch screen (just my personal preference) and plus it's cheaper. Only problem is that memory is not expandable and battery runs out fast. Would recommend buying an external backup USB power supply from sony's website. February 9, 2012
Great Camera - Awful Battery Life I purchased this camera to video tape some of my upcoming performances. While I loved the camera, it was easy to use and hand off to people - it consistently died after 45min of use, even after fully charing it, updating software and firmware, emptying out the memory card, and lowering my video settings. Sony Bloggie Duo This is Sony First 2 lens camera. The Sony Bloggie Duo takes care of that problem with an additional 2" LCD screen right under the lens, so you can frame yourself properly whether you're taking video or stills. Perfect for the vlogger or camera blogger on the road or for travel. The audio sounds fine. The Sony Bloggie Duo also have SteadyShot image stabilization for smoother footage, Face Detection technology to enhance faces by automatically correcting focus and exposure, a built-in USB arm for easy charging and uploading to a computer, internal memory, built-in rechargeable battery, and HDMI? output to enjoy content on your HDTV and also built in LED Night Light comes in handy for night time video recording. The Flip Camera you all know have discontinued and stopped production and will not continue to developed anymore Flip Camera. If you thinking using your smarthphone to do your HD video recording or Vblogging. Well if you frame yourself properly whether you're taking video or stills you will have little dificulty but Sony Bloggie Duo takes care of that problem with an additional 2" LCD screen.
