disappointment I was happy at first i had newest TV but now i have seen other brands with rechargeable batteries and now 1 brand dont use batteries at all.. I paid over $2,000 for my TV ill pay $150.00 for new glasses April 5, 2011
Works as its suppose to be Well, when we ordered the 3D glasses, we expected to receive the new rechargeable 3D glasses as it was indicated on our order, instead we received the old model, ie battery replaceable. Even though the recharge one as Sony said to be Li rechargeable battery. It will die eventually, and we think it could be more expensive to buy a new rechargeable 3D glasses then replacing the battery. As a result, we kept what we received. Besides this, i have no idea how long it will take to recharge it. Whereas the old battery type, i can simply replace the battery without any waiting, and battery is cheaper to replace than a 3D glasses. If you travel oversea, you can simply bring some batteries back, as they could cost as low as CDN1.25 per unit. I tried on a blue ray 3D documentary disk. The image was very good. March 28, 2011
Sony Has Done it Again We upgraded to Sony HX8003D from Sony LCD 52", it was well worth the money. the glasses are fine. we have had no problems with them. I think that they are comfortable and so does my wife. I wear glasses and so does my wife and we have no problem. It is just like being in I Max. Great Job Sony. Everyone should own one.
