Amazing!! Had my VAIO VPCF136FM for about 9 months now and it is fast! i use 3D applications such as 3D Studio Max, Blender, Photoshop CS5, Unity 3D, and CryEngine. so far this computer handles all these applications with ease. there is no lag what so ever and i have never had a problem with software crashing. my specs are Core i7 740QM 1.73 Turbo Boost 2.93, Nvidia GeForce GT425M, USB 3.0. overall i recommend it. The BEST This is the best laptop money can buy. Like the other reviewer stated, it is a desktop but in laptop form. I am in love with my VPCF. I have had Dell laptops and when something goes wrong- DHL to the rescue. I have had no problems, I use it to backup my desktop and vice versa. The backlight is perfect for late night games or chat sessions. It is heavy, whic I use a rolliebag instead of a shoulder bag. The Battery Life is fine if you upgrade your BIOS, setting to proper choosing (performance, enerysaver, etc), and the VAIO care takes care of the updates. I bought a VAIO Desktop I was so impressed with the Laptop. You will not regret your purchase! March 2, 2011

complete software crash I purchased this laptop, barely used it and it crashed on week 3. Bestbuy says I just bought a lemon. The warranty does not cover software, so I am stuck. Recommend you don't buy this computer unless you want to throw away $1300. August 14, 2010
