Featuring 4GB of built-in flash memory, you can store up to 1,072 hours of voice-quality audio in LP mode. Additional features include selectable microphone sensitivity (Hi/Lo) and Voice Operated Recording, which stops the recording during silent pauses and begins recording again when the conversation resumes. Does not play files in alphanumeric order I would give it 5 stars and it would be a great device if it played files in the alphanumeric order. However, very unfortunately, it does not. Instead it plays music files in the order they are copied onto the device from a computer, and this order is somewhat arbitrary when a folder with files is copied. As a result, music tracks are played in a wrong order. Thus, this device is pretty useless as a mp3 player, and it should NOT be advertised as such. Frankly, I am simply shocked that Sony engineers missed such an important feature as a playback in the alphanumeric order. July 22, 2010
