Bad HDMI The picture is great when I get one. I keep losing sound and picture through hdmi inputs and I dont seem to be able to view any programs in 1080p for some reason. Have did the firmware updates Sony doesn't seem to be able to give me a fix. and of course my warranty is expired and sony will do nothing even though these problems have been noted since 3 weeks after i bought TV. Now this seems to be happening more frequently. I probably will not be purchasing another Sony TV. January 19, 2011

Incredible TV! I have had this TV over a month & the only complaint I have is being able to watch it more than my children. This is the nicest TV I have ever had & I have owned many. We have it in a room with lots of windows & the LCD screen works perfectly. Even during the brightest time of day the colors are just as vivid as during the evening. The sound bar at the bottom of the unit is really good! I have a Phillips sound system which enhances the sound, but the sound bar on the TV is really good. If you're thinking about purchasing this, do it! I was also looking at the Samsung, but really glad I chose the Sony Bravia. February 21, 2010

Great LCD for the money I bought this HDTV about a month ago and overall I have been extremely impressed with it. The picture quality is outstanding! 120hz Motionflow provides very smooth motion and the black level is also excellent. There are plenty of connections and set-up is a breeze. I also like the very clean design of this set, looks great with my PS3. The only two minor complaints I have are: 1. The audio is somewhat garbled at very low volumes and in general the speakers seem to produce a slight echo. (This issue will soon be resolved with a Blu Ray home theater system) And 2. The dynamic backlighting tends to get confused as to what to do during film credits - it dims way down, then when the words come up on screen it gets brighter and jumps around a bit. These two shortcomings are easily overlooked though, as they don't really detract from the overall experience. February 18, 2010

Bad Color Flashing, HDMI Ports dropping sound I have had for one week and the picture keeps changing color tones in certain scenes. Mainly affects facial closeups. Very annoying. Sound issues with HDMI - sound goes garbled for about 10 seconds then cuts out completely, then comes back after approx 30 seconds. Does not happen with component cables. Looks like I will have to return TV within 30 days unless a fix can be made by Sony. Long time Sony user, first really bad TV from them. Too bad because without these issues the picture is not that bad. Low ratings are for the defects that will make me return the unit. February 1, 2010
