Amazing Sound!
We have been so impressed with this home theater system! We received this system for free with purchase of the 52 inch Sony Bravia TV during the Sony Holiday promotion, so it was a fantastic value! Set up was very easy. I love how it automatically integrates with the TV with Bravia Sync, so everything works as one unit (when you turn on the sound system, the tv automatically switches sound over to the system, etc). Our TV came with the integrated internet video/netflix capabilities, so we don't mind that the home theater system does not have that. All in all, a great system that our family is enjoying very much! P.S.Remember to hook this system up to your home network so it can receive regular software updates. We used the Netgear Home Theater connection kit (available on this Sony site or from amazon) to connect the TV, Home Theater,and Direct TV box all to our home network. Works Great!

easy setup
overall awesome system! Sound quality is awesome (even the wireless speakers). you can take the front speakers off of the stand and hang them on the wall (or wherever). It's nice not having to run wires from the front of the room to the rear. And surprisingly everything stays fairly clean, we have five cats and I have only had to wipe everything down once. We have had the system for 3 months and no issues (yet).

Post installation experience
I bought this sound system in conjunction with a 50" 1080p Plasma screen. My objective and expectation is to derive the full benefit offered by Blu-Ray technology. To this end, they system met my expectations.
I also have Verizon FIOS. For those of you with this or other HDTV cable service I recommend routing the audio from the HDTV rather then directly from the cable box using the digital audio output port. The HDTV intuitively powered up the home theatre system and routes sound to it.
Trying to route audio from the cable box to this theatre system is problematic because of the way the HDTV behaves when it senses that you have powered up the theatre sound system.
The box has a Ethernet port. Presently the port can be used to update the sound system's firmware. (This can also be done by CD.) Some Blue-Ray discs offer interactive content through the Internet. I hope that Sony in a future firmware release will offer iPhone like applications that play streaming media from providers such as Netflix.

Good. Could be better
The setup was simple, relatively speaking and the resulting sound is good, could be great with a little tweaking on my end.
My number one complaint is that it doesn't support Netflix. It's got Ethernet, so clearly connects to the Internet, a USB port, so clearly one can add storage, so what gives?
