With 530 total watts (190W x 2, 150 x 1), it's a complete, easy-to-use music system with power to spare. "It's a Sony"!!! I've been a Sony man all my life, from my first Sony mini-system(a Sony FH-10W) I bought at the PX while on UN duty in the Middle East back in 1985(It still works beautifully, and is still doing duty in my rec room;), to my current Sony model MHC-EC99i which is fantastic and is my main audio unit that handles everything from the Sony Bravia TV to musical enjoyment. It's stylish enough and with crystal clear, bass thumping, room filling sound, it's simply a joy to listen to, and it looks beatiful in my living room as well. Only thing that would top this baby off would be a manual operated eq(for us guy's that like to tinker) along with the pre-set's(or offer a few more pre-set's). The quality, and craftsmenship that goes into a Sony is second to none, and if the MHC-EC99i last's half as long as my FH-10W, I'd be extremely happy. Cheer's January 28, 2011
AMAZING!!! Even though its a refurb :) Crisp highs, perfects mids, deep lows with awesome bass. With the Sub and the 3 way speakers the crossover frequency and quality is great! It is really big, but I like that, and the treble can sound a tiny tiny bit high. It works with my iPod Nano 5th gen, but it doesn't say that in the manual, so just FYI. awsome system we went to walmart to get this system i listened to it for 30 min and the bass was great. i love this system its fun to listen to. i love how the cd tray comes out of the top and then a peace slides out. March 23, 2010
X-cellent Stereo I purchased this system a while back and it has done nothing but satisfy me. The sound is great and the bass is incredible. Another thing that's neat is the CD player doesn't open up outward like other players, the column rises out of the top. The only down side of this system is it's love to attract dust like a magnet. Other than that, Its great. This was an upgrade from my LG and am I ever glad I upgraded! January 21, 2010
