The MEX-BT3700 integrates seamlessly with satellite radio Sony® Bus adaptors (sold separately) so you can receive digital satellite radio broadcasts³. HD Radio® capability lets you receive digital audio broadcasts when used with an optional HD Radio tuner⁴.

The 13-segment LCD with bright backlight makes it easy to read song information or explore your CD files and folders.

Wireless Card Remote included (RM-X304)

Illumination I have the non BT version of this radio and it also has blue backlight. I agree that it is too bright. The good news is that it can be changed to green which is not too bright and matches more car dashes anyway. The pause button not being backlit is definitely an issue and the remote functions do not coincide with the buttons on the radio (the 6 on the remote doesn't pause). As a matter of fact, there is no pause on the remote. Sony definitely needs to work on their designs to make the interface more intuitive. January 12, 2010

Too Bright at Night I really like this unit but driving at night with no other lights around I've had to put a piece of paper over the unit to block it out. At first I thought I could deal with it and the further I drove the more it bothered me. Driving in town with other lights its not as bad. The dim function only dims the display window, not the whole unit and the white around the knob and the blue around the buttons is just too bright. January 2, 2010

Awsome The ease of this unit being installed in my 2001 ford focus flawless. connecting to my iphone 3gs 32gig SWEET! i can listen to my iheart app,wunderradio app, Navigon app. through the radio connects as soon as i turn car on. it took some while like 2min to get used to all calls coming out radio instead of jawbone prime.
