good picture & sound hdmi conections dont work right use componet wires instead.hdmi wire will give a white line on top or sides of your tv. If you can live without hdmi inputs the picture is just as good ;and if you have a suround system no worryes. but you cannot hook up a computer do to bad hdmi conections.remember you will need a sony dvd/vcr in order to get the right zoom when watching a dvd.I already had 1.I guess this why they discontinued this modle kdl-32M4000.To bad they did not fix the kinks.but I will keep it.Please do not waste money on hdmi wires cable gives you componet wires for free with a hd box.overall rating 4stars. Disappointing I'm generally disappointed with the quality of this TV. I have 2 other brand LCD TVs which I've had for a couple of years now that have better image quality. I've been upset with reliability of these and wanted to try Sony instead. Unfortunately both the picture and sounds quality I think are significantly below expectation on this TV. Even HDMI is significantly quantized and any analog inputs are horribly noisy. The sound (even over HDMI) is tinny. The speakers on this TV are evidently just too small. The final straw for me has been driving a PC to the TV. PCs occassionaly change resolution (e.g. during boot). The TV does not automatically sync to the new resolution and the recommendation is to use VGA instead of HDMI. January 21, 2009
Size is Good The picture is fine but when you try to play a widwscreen DVD the picture is about 5 inches tall very unhappy with this January 8, 2009
