best purchase ever
I love this phone. Its easy to use than a razr phone that I had previously. The battery seems to last at least over 400 miles (Iride a motorcycle). I use the walkman alot to listen to tunes while on road. Never had problem with battery going dead.

Such a disappointment.
I was so disappointed with this phone. I got it as a replacement to the w810i (which was the best phone I have ever had and wish I could've gotten instead) and was so sorely disappointed with it. I am an avid texter (which isn't unusual this day and age) and within a month of having the phone, all of the keys, with the exception of the 0, were cracked down the middle. The * and # keys are missing a corner. Every time this phone gets dropped, even if it's only from a foot or two and onto carpet, it spazzes out. The design leaves the phone weak and flimsy. Using the keypad is difficult as well, due to the design, and causes my hand to cramp up a lot (which hasn't happened with any other phone). Running programs on this phone cause it to spaz out as well, occasionally freezing or locking up and having to remove the battery to restart it. The battery cover is the most difficult to remove of all the phones I have had as well. I absolutely HATE this phone. The camera is decent, which is the best thing I can say about it. There are, however, two features from the w810i's camera that I wish this phone had: a light, and zoom availability in all photos.

Love My Phone!
This is my second cell phone from Sony Ericsson and I love it more then my first. I bought 2 more, 1 for my son the other for my daughter-n-law.

w 580 i pink
reliable as a phone, radio, step counter, but battery life is horrible. has to recharged everyday even if just using phone. love the color, but haven't been able to download songs...... used and paid for i tunes but did not transfer. where do I download with compatible?
