A wonderful wild life lens.
A wonderful wild life lens! I have been using for about a year and half along with the 2X converter when I think I need it. The more I use it the more I like it. I'm very pleased with the photos I have taken with this lens. Built like a tank yet provides elegant controls and features.

5 STARS ACROSS THE BOARD!
I purchased this lens for my A700 about 2 months ago. Although I have only used it on a couple of outings, I have been completely impressed from the start. The focus speed is blazing fast and accurate and the clarity is stunning. I have included a couple of images taken this week.

King Of The Hill !

Excellent lens
I've been using this lens since 6/08. I shoot mainly wildlife and it takes wonderful pictures (I have it on an A900 and most of my shots are with the 1.4 TC). I did make a hand grip out of a bicycle grip, wooden dowel, and hanger bolt (picture included). It really helps with moving targets. When connecting the lens to the camera it developed a wobble after one year that required repair. It has worked fine since then.
