I've had these headphones since 2007. Everyone who has seen me with them has like them . They had to have one. First, I like to say is, Sony has always had the better quality of electronics. And I know that anyone who has bought any of their products , know that is so true. I have compared these headphones to all the ones now, Even Bose headphones. These sound better, if you have a equalizer on your device that's even better. It can handle any volume in bass. It's worth every penny, Need another pair. Nothing wrong with mine. My daughter wants a pair.

For 5 years...
I've had these headphones for 5 years. I only used the noise canceling for the first 3 months (for business trips), then just used them as regular headphones.
All that needs replacing periodically is the ear covers.

THIS IS A USELESS HEADPHONE, SONY SHOULD STOP MANUFACTURING THESE NOISE CANCELLATION HEAD PHONES, I PURCHASED ONE UNIT IN ASIA IN SINGAPORE AND THIS IS ALREADY KAPUT WITH BURR QUITE UNBEARBLE. CHEAP STUFF , NEVER BUY A SONY AGAIN FOR AUDIO.
