I recently purchased this unit and I'm pretty happy with it. It supports all of the major streaming services. I've used Netflix + Hulu + Amazon Instant Video with no problems at all. I've also used the DLNA implementation streaming content off of my Mac with Serviio. The "Super Wi-Fi" implementation delivers a very strong signal on the other side of the house with my Airport Extreme access point. In fact, it is stronger than every device I have with the exception of a Mac Mini in the same room as the access point.
I was prompted to complete a firmware update when I first installed the unit and it completed with no problems. I have a very simple setup (2.0 audio to a Vizio 34" LCD panel) and no complaints at all.
From what I read, this unit is Energy Star compliant and draws less than 0.1 watts in standby, which is awesome!
This is a solid replacement for the Apple TV I was using to stream NetFlix and random movies via iTunes. I haven't tried the SideView app yet.

Great streaming device
Easy to set-up and versatile since it connects to many network services such as Netflix, Windows 8 PC that streams via Windows Media Player and a DLNA network file storage to stream my media. Response is quick and the XrossMediaBar (XMB UI is familiar if you've used PSP or PS3.
I replaced my DVD player and Roku with this single device.
One needs to remember DLNA cannot play some files such as protected iTunes files or Windows Recorded TV Show (.WTV) files since they are limited to running on iTunes or Windows devices. But for plain MP3, MP4 video files, and photos, this works perfectly.

EXCELLENT player!
location of this player is way less than ideal... in basement basically underground, wireless router upstairs on other side of house, player enclosed in a totally metal media cabinet which could hamper wireless connection, yet works flawlessly!!! netflix interface is great... shows with multiple episodes run consecutively without having to manually start each episode. this is exactly what i was looking for and couldn't be happier! fast load, seamless wireless connection even in terrible conditions, great PQ, LOVE IT!

Excellent Player for the Price
Great Picture quality output, excellent wifi connection speed, simple intuitive user interface and fast disk insert to play time. The remote should have been backlit and not ideal for web browsing. I'm trying to figure out the sideview app..can't seem to locate the player.
