Good phone
I bought this phone for work and I am glad I did. The phone is smaller than I thought it would be but big enough to enjoy the screen. It is thin and light - about half the thickness and weight of my iPhone 4. The screen is fantastic and durability is good. I think the screen on my Xperia Advance is equal to or greater than the iPhone 4 even though the phone itself is smaller. The phone is well constructed.
Having said all that, one of the issues I have with the phone is the battery is totally unpredictable. All things being roughly equal the battery is quirky. Some days it will use 20% of the battery, other days it will use 100% of the battery - doing roughly the same tasks and for about the same amount of usage. Sometimes I have 80% battery at night when I go to bed and then only 25% when I wake up and not enough time to charge it before I go to work.
Also, there is no mute switch like the iPhone. Sony should put that into every Xperia phone.
One more thing - you can only turn it on by hitting the "on" button on the top of the phone. I would like to be able to turn it on with another point of contact on the phone.
Other than that, I love this phone. Very cool, stylish, durable, great screen and colors, lots of ringtones. I don't need the water resistant functions but it is nice to be able to have it near my sink when I am in the bathroom shaving or brushing my teeth and not have to worry about my phone.
Well done, but Sony can make it better pretty easily. I think they will. I recommend it in spite of the few flaws. I would buy it again.

Slim, cute and strong
Love my phone, looks good, very light.
I risked when I bought it because I am with Straightalk and ..... it worked! :) for me it is the best deal ever.
However I feel the battery life is not that long like it is listed in its "Specifications".
Overall I like it and I am not sorry for buying it.

Great little phone
Great UNLOCKED phone. It would be better if all frequencies were offered for flexibility with providers. Sony seems to be stuck on At&T bandwidth but for unlocked phones why? May be other carriers will take them if frequency provided.
Screen is very clear and sharp. I liked the tight casing, I need it for I drop and get my phones dirty all the time. Also the dual core processor is lightning fast.
One of my pet peeves is the inability to uninstall junk apps like YouTube, Facebook, etc. It is UNLOCKED, give me the flexibility.
