Amazing I got these the Sony head phones because I was tried of the cord on my ear buds getting in the way when I went to the gym, and even walking around my house. I use these head phones at the gym and they fit great. I don't feel like their going to fall off or worry about them getting in the way. The price is a little high but they are worth the price. If your in the market for new headphones I would say these will not let you down. January 3, 2013
Great compromise between good sound and NC This headset is ideal for someone who wants simply the best of both sound quality and noise cancellation beyond all else. however it comes at a price, literally and figuratively. The biggest draw back being the size and the weight, the NC500(600)D is already on the large side compared to most of its competitors, the 1RNC go even further, taking up an entire section of my travel bag. Another drawback is the "stylish" rods on the back of the ear piece, because the rods sticks out behind slightly, they actually hit the pillow when sleeping while face up, which adds a bit of uncomfortable pressure. On the other hand because the side is relatively flat and large, the 1RNC is better to sleep with on the side of the head then the NC500(600)D. The the biggest improvement has to be the fact that the 1RNC actually works as a regular headphone when the battery runs out, you have no idea how many times i had to use the cheap $2 headphone they give you one planes to watch the movie because the battery died. All in all and good upgrade from the NC500(600)D, but I just wished Sony did a few minor changes to the NC model to make it better suited for traveling purposes. November 14, 2012
