Worth the patience!
After reading the prior reviews on here, I have to admit I was very leary of this before I even received it. Yes, it was difficult to put on the phone, just didn't seem like it was going to quite fit right. I don't give up easily, so I kept fooling with it. Walla, I finally got it on and it fits like a glove, looks great, feels great, and gives the phone a lot of protection! So far, I'm very happy with it and am having no problems with its function.

Good Case
This is a good case, probably the best case available for the Xperia Ion.
With that said, the thing I do not like about this case is that near the side flap (right side of the case if you are looking at it from the back) is absolutely stretchy and weak. It is the rubber part of of the case, and since it is the rubber part with no support from the solid shell it can stretch like a rubber band. The shell of the case should have been designed to support that part better. Other than that flaw, this case has great texture/grip. The subtle style to the case is wonderful and the case protects the phone very well. I like the case very much, other than the weak rubber flap issue.

Immediately Returned
After putting this case on my Ion, every time I placed my phone in my pocket, the case came off. Over the past two years, I have seen a profound reduction in the quality of the products Sony offers, while prices continue to increase.
