Basically, I just wanted a stereo with a USB port that would work with all the music on my Droid Razr. This thing is super picky about working with USB. I've gotten it to work with a small flash drive, but it does not work with a portable hard drive, a Creative Zen micro mp3 player (in regular mode or in usb storage mode), and most importantly, as the previous reviewer said, does not work with Android!! Which is the main reason i purchased this! The sound is pretty good overall; there is a seven band EQ that allows for lots of fine tuning the sound. However, the bass is overall significantly weaker than the stock radio of a 2000 corolla. Of note also is that all the settings are buried in a menu; there are no quick adjustments to treble or bass without delving into the EQ menu. Overall, its a decent unit, and makes a great CD player. Too bad they falsely advertise it to work with Android phones. February 27, 2013
This does not work with Android! Buyer beware! This stereo claims to work with Android but, neither the Samsung Galaxy S3 or the Razr are recognized by the stereo. Iphone works fine but none of the Androids. The phones are in MSC mode as the instructions say but, it still does not work and tech support is of no help. After an hour of trying to get me off the chat session, the tech's final solution was to wait for a firmware upgrade to send it in for service! As I said before, THIS DOES NOT WORK WITH ANDROID!!!!!!
