Great TV and Great service from Sony
I was debating between Samsung and Sony when buying a new TV. I have always had Sony. I now own a Sony PC..for 3 years no problems. A 32" LCD..5 years old and no problems. Playing as nice as the day I bought it. I even have a Sony Walkman. My PS3 is great and blue ray on that system is number one. I soon hope to buy a new lap top and it will be from Sony. After buying this Sony TV I am so happy that I stayed with them. This TV is great at a great price. They gave me over night shipping free so I orderer it on Weds. an got it to my door the next day. Why did I really stay with Sony? #1...Always had very god luck with everything I own from Sony. #2...Their service Dept. is number one by me. Whenever I had to call them for help they were there and always very helpful. They seem to really care about you as a customer. That service counts a lot. Thank you again Sony and I will always buy Sony.

Great TV, but could use additional inputs
This is a very nice TV. I love the picture and sound quality. It is very easy to use right out of the box, and has tons of great features and is also an excellent value. However, there are only 3 inputs available on this TV, plus the RF (Coaxial) input. It has 2 HDMI inputs, and a Component Video Input and that's it! If you have an older DVD player, or an older Video Game system that only has RCA or S-Video Connections, then you're pretty much out of luck. I had to connect my older video game system to an RF Modulator and then connect it to the TV via a Coaxial cable-something you shouldn't have to do in this day and age with a modern TV!
All in all, a very nice TV that would be excellent if you are just planning to hook up a Cable Box and Blu-Ray player to. The very limited number of inputs is the one big drawback.

Excellant T.V.!
I couldn't be happier with this Sony t.v. The picture quality is excellant. The black level is outstanding. And the color is spot on. The details are very clear, even in dark scenes. Sony's Motionflow XR 120 does a great job at reducing motion blur. The digital noise reduction also does a great job. Even standard DVD's on this t.v. look outstanding. Probably because of my Sony Blu-ray's excellant upscaling of DVD's to 1080p! The sound quality is very good for a thin LED/LCD t.v. Most on the market sound very tinny, not this Sony. This t.v. blows away my one year old Sharp LCD in every way, especially in sound quality. Buy this excellant Sony t.v. I'm sure you won't be disappointed! I'm a Sony fan for life! Also, I must say Sony's customer support is top-notch. They're very helpful. And they take their time to explain everything to you. And really care about you as a customer!

Gorgeous Picture!!
For the money this is an excellent TV. We love the brilliant colours and the perfect sharp picture. We've watched SD Television and its better than on the tube (yes we migrated at last). We watched Blu Ray movies and HD movies and they are amazing on this TV!! We don't need or want 3D.
We have Apple TV and don't need the 'smart tv' internet features so this TV was perfect for us.
Big enough as we have a small living room. If you sit more than 8 feet from the screen then probably get a bigger screen if you can afford it. Dark night scenes show grainy but thats not a huge deal. It depends how picky you are or how much dark/night type movies and shows you watch.
The brilliance of the colour pictures makes up for dark scenes. We thought we wanted Plasma but not anymore!
