While some image stabilization systems move as individual lens elements, Sony's Balanced Optical SteadyShot image stabilization moves the entire lens and image sensor assembly together. It floats as a single unit, resulting in the canceling of a far larger range of camera shake. That means you can confidently shoot with the HXR-NX30U as you walk. Or shoot handheld telephoto. You can even shoot from a moving vehicle.
Versatile recording.
Like many cameras, the HXR-NX30U shoots Full HD 1080p. But it goes much further with 24p, 30p and 60p recording. Recording at 60p for a 24p timeline results in beautiful slow motion at 40% actual speed. The camera also captures 24-megapixel still images thanks to Sony's By-Pixel Super Resolution technology.
Built-in projector.
The HXR-NX30U comes complete with a built-in video projector. To instantly share your shots with clients and crew members, simply point the projector at any white surface. Think of it as a confidence monitor that proves to everyone you've got the shot.
