Worked great for almost a year
Bought these in April 2012 and the microphone and volume controls died on my March 2013. Not too bad considering I sweat a lot and have been using them constantly during that time. For this price, I'll just buy another and hope they last just as long.

1 year in use and still great!
It's easy to find these headphones for under full price. I just picked up 2 pairs at 1/2 off just in case they discontinue these.
Last year I bought a pair to replace my AS20J sports headphones that have now been discontinued, I was on my 3rd pair of those at the time. The sound isn't anything spectacular as they are slightly better than the ones that come with your iPhone, but these are the best option for when you are doing anything that involves a lot of movement, like running, biking or any general moving around.
I personally use these most while watching the TV on the Elliptical machine at the gym.
The AS22ip seems to be lasting a bit longer than my AS20J headphones and for one am glad I was able to pick up 2 more pairs.
Definitely pick a pair up if you can find it under 20 bucks.

Difficult to put in your ears
It is difficult to get them to stay in your ears and there is nothing that permits adjustment to your ear size. Because they don't fit securely, you may lose at lot of the sound quality. I would not buy. Not worth it. It seems that Sony spends more money on the packing than on the manufacturing of their products.
