Bought to Replace MDR-EX51 I bought these to replace my beloved SONY MDR-EX51 ear buds that failed after many many years of faithful service. I was disappointed that the bass was missing when I tried these for the first time. I tried out my 1 working MDR-EX51 and the bass was back. I returned them and bought a pair of Skull Candy Ink'd ear buds on advice from a sales person at Best Buy. They are no better hence the "Average" rating. I guess I have to step up a price range to get the same quality as the MDR-EX51. March 14, 2013
