Excellent Voice Clarity
Although bass performance is limited, the overall clarity at medium to high frequencies is excellent. I was not impressed when I connected these to my Sony Walkman (mp3 player), but they are outstanding when connected to my cell phone for typical phone calls. The earbuds come with three different sized cushions and they are very comfortable.

Superior to Klipsch S4i (seriously)
I have been back and forth to the store several times now, purchasing and returning various earbuds from BOSE, Klipsch, and SONY. These buds have ranged in price from $16 to $100.
The SONY EX210B buds ($40) are the best buy - certainly didn't want to return them. The sound is epic - good clarity, great balance and pushes out impressive bass (some may find it too bass-heavy, though). The silicone buds are comfortable and (most importantly) form a very tight seal with my ears, which really seals the deal on sound quality for buds like this.
Unfortunately, the greatness stops there; SONY shamefully leaves out the iPhone Siri/Volume/Track controller from this product in lieu of its inferior product line (what's up with that). Additionally, the wires are cheap (bring back the higher-quality wires)!
All said, you will want to try these earbuds on for size. One thing I have come to realize - the audio experience is highly subjective, so what sounds "epic" to me may sound tinny, overly-bassy or just awful to you. Regardless, I think these are worth a very serious shot - especially considering I find the results superior to some much, much pricier products.

Suprisingly Good
I bought these ear buds today looking to replace a pair of Bose ie2's that broke (again) and was just looking for something that wasn't going to bankrupt me while giving me better sound quality than what was given in the Apple Earbuds.
Now, coming out of the package-earpiece aside- these are not fashionable headphones. They are grey reminiscent of an army instant meal package or mailing tape, but if you can get past that they feel really good.
The Bass on this is obviously very well balanced compared to the apple earbuds (real bass not just a pop), but there are some shortcomings of the sound itself, beyond sounding WAY better than stock buds they do have issues playing music when there are a lot of things going on, I found this right after opening the package and plugging them in and yes it is better after "burning" them in but songs with brass in them (jazz?) have large amounts of fuzz for the first hour or so and I'd recommend staying with simple tracks for a little until the driver can handle it (it's twice the size of an apple driver so cut it some slack). But once you get past that it really does pretty well. The mids on the buds is where these do suffer unfortunately, for example Fresh Prince of Bel Air has some major fuzz but that might just be the burning in happening.
I got this pair of headphones to serve as a nice budget pair of earbuds that wouldn't sound like stock music and I was pleasantly suprised to find that they were not as bad as the price tag might usually entail.
Once again Sony has made a great pair of music listening devices that don't break the bank like certain low quality name brands but offer better sound. If I can add a further option I would recommend the EXB-MDR700's with the 50mm drivers for home or travel use as an alternative to a certain "Studio" or otherwise "pro" headphones.
