pretty happy, 1 complaint got these about 3 months ago. I use them quite a bit and the sound is alot better than I anticipated, excellent acutally. my only beef with them is the connecting wire, it's too heavy behind your neck, and moves the ear buds as you move breaking the seal. i think an easy fix would be to bulk up the memory wire holding them in place and reduce the connecting wire as much as possible. right now, they are great for travel and stationary listening, but find myself fidgeting too much with the fit when on the move, either walking or exercising. Outstanding product I have purchased numerous stereo Bluetooth in-ear headsets and these are without a doubt the best I have ever purchased. The sound quality is outstanding for a stereo Bluetooth headset. The highs are crisp, the mid range is clean and the lows are deep and without any distortion. The charging system is well thought out and very useful and functional. The size of the cord is the perfect length and the features work well with my iPhone 4S. I have been sharing the awesomeness of this headset to many people. I commend Sony for manufacturing this very outstanding product. I now use my HBH-IS 800 as my spare of which I still enjoy them as well. I have purchased many products from Sony throughout the years and I am still a supporter of Sony products April 13, 2012
Sorry Sony, but needs to be smaller Okay, I am sorry to say this, but Sony larger is neither always cooler nor better. I will be returning this product. The price is outrageous for these goofy things. Sure I know your engineers worked really hard on this design and I give them kudos for their efforts, but not the overall design. Too much plastic and the charging case should have a stowaway for the cable and I should not have to add another diaper to hold the charging case. These things need to simple be smaller. I know you say, ?but we need room for the battery? and we had to make them like huge. Well figure it out Sony! Or you will lose the race on technology like your phones and computers! I don?t really care to have a robot look square going down the street while blinding everyone with the front facing reflective metallic coating on a sunny day. These do sound very good listening too music, but my phone conversation was horrible. I had to turn the volume way up on my iPhone 4s and the quality was marginal. (And yes, I have tried several other buds and got much better results). So, I will have to wait another few years for some alternative to BT buds. Keep up the efforts; just get it smaller in size. Best Bluetooth Headset I've Ever Owned The XBA-BT75 is the best set of Bluetooth earbuds I've ever owned, and tied with the Sony DR-BT50s as the best Bluetooth headphones I've ever had. The sound is stellar, and I can either have them comfortably resting in my ears so I can hear people talking to me, or push them in for complete sound isolation when I'm alone at my desk. Either way they are comfortable, and the choose of three differently sized earbuds definitely helps provide a perfect fit for superior noise isolation. Sony has really outdone themselves with the Balanced Armature line of headphones; the sound, design, and noise isolation are all excellent. In fact, the sound is so good that it's hard to believe these are Bluetooth earbuds, a category notorious for less-than-great sound quality because of the compression inherent to BT transmission. I replaced a pair of Plantronics BackBeat 903+s with these, and these headphones outperform them in almost every way. They are definitely more compact and comfortable, and unlike the BackBeats there are multiple sizes of tips for perfect noise isolation. They also stay connected much more consistently, and it's only in areas of high radio interference and even then only outdoors that I've had to put my iPhone in my breast pocket. Speaking of the iPhone, these headphones work excellent with it, allowing me to play/pause, next/prev. track, and answer and hang up calls with ease. I can also adjust the volume, which is tied to the iPhone system volume and respects the different volume settings of the phone depending on the app you're in (music, call volume, ringer, etc.). The only features I miss from the BackBeats are the ability to activate Siri directly from the headset (which means no truly hands-free calling), slight waterproofing, a tone when hanging up to let me know the call terminated successfully, and the status bar battery meter and audible battery life remaining message, which is irrelevant, seeing as I've yet to run out of battery with these, plus the case holds 2.5 times charge of the headphones! None of these are really that big a deal, except the Siri thing, and even then most of the times I'm using Siri I need to take the phone out anyway. Speaking of the case, it makes an excellent companion to the headphones, and as I mentioned earlier holds 2.5 times the charge of the headphones, a quick way to charge them on the go. Sony claims 3.5 hours battery life, but I use them all day and have yet to run out of battery by the time I plug them in at night, and have so far only used the case to protect the headphones when I take them off due to rain or to sleep, as those are basically the only time I take them off aside from flights. Obviously they can't be used in-flight as they are Bluetooth, so I'll be buying a pair of the 4-driver XBAs with the iPhone remote as well, which will hopefully also let me activate Siri to place calls without taking my iPhone out. As far as calls, I've heard no complaints from anyone I've spoken to over them, and it's easier than the BackBeats to hear people since I can actually push these ones in for sound isolation. In conclusion, these headphones are awesome. If you're looking for a great set of Bluetooth earbuds or even if you already own some but are looking to step up to the big leagues, this is the way to go. The sound is unlike anything you'll get from any other BT earbuds, and better than any corded earbuds anywhere near this price (barring the multi-driver XBAs of course) in my opinion. Stop reading this review and just buy them, you will not regret it! March 31, 2012
