Absolute perfection
I bought this computer for the purpose of college and I am excited to use it. I received this about a week ago and it has not failed me once. It is amazing and very beautiful. I also read these previous reviews and they frightened me a bit but they are all wrong in the negative ways bc there is nothing wrong here. the only thing is camera settings suck a bit, but if you are good at customization, then it will be fine.

some things are not ideal
the screen brightness is strange. i dont know if it is too bright or whatever, but i have tried to play around with it and change it, but a lot of the times it doesnt work. for example just filling out this review i had to give it a title, give it pros and cons, and going from one box to another to fill out each section it was hard to even see the boxes because the boxes background look the same as the regular background because the screen is so bright.
the wireless sliding button is in the most inconvenient spot. sometimes when using my mouse touch pad, i accidentally slide the wireless button and it goes offline. very inconvenient spot.
i also think that the lid should light up like the keyboard. in the store when i bought it, i could have sworn it was lit up. but now at home its not..
keyboard is very comfortable, mouse pad too. very very pretty laptop for girls. i have had this for only 3 days and got about 20 compliments on it.

Disapointed
The unit is thin and light however the "laptop" is uncomfortable in your lap. The fan for the heat sink blows out the back and down when the screen is in the uprite position. The mouse right and left buttons are not easy to operate as well as too close to the edge. the right and left front corner where your hands rest are pointy and bothersome. the power button is too close to the delete button and east to hit the off switch when trying to pres delete if you are not looking there at the time. The usb ports are all on the same side and anyoying. I own 5 sony laptops. The drivers for my printers (which are somewhat new) were not on the computer. The screen durring typing turns very light and the fonts and tool bars are unreadable and I have to stop and close and reopen the program (brightness does not help). The SD slot works intermitantly. These problems should not be happening. I almost thew it away and took the $850.00 hit for less of a headache. Quality has decreased. NOT HAPPY
