Could this be the Nano/Shuffle killer? Preordered this Walkman based on my past experiences with Sony. Sony has always put out a great product. When I received it, took it out of the package hooked it up to my Mac, dragged in 700 songs and was totally satisfied! Sound is very good despite no EQ control. Make sure that the earpieces are snug in the ear for best bass response. Haven't tried the playlist control yet and I'm not sure if the "zappin" in mode is very effective. Not sure how it will hold up in the long run. One caveat for the design; it buffers wind noise if you are riding a bike. I think I own more Sony products than Apple devices! August 29, 2011

Great for most things I just got this so I can't speak to wear or battery life or waterproofness but its quite cool and the sound is way better than my old Impecca Wire-Free sport MP3 player. The bummer is, if you listen to 2.5 hour long podcasts like I do, forget about catching back up to the middle. There is no FF or RW function at all! Sony made another mp3 player that had a great logarithmic FF/RW feature that would make this device perfiect if it had it. No way am I getting this wet - that's how I broke my Impecca mp3 player which was also supposed to be "water resistant". Sony - you're getting close!. March 5, 2013

Could be better I am seriously disappointed with this product. It has the potential to be amazing, but my issue is with the earbud design. When I wear these, the one earbud stays in beautifully, while the other one continuously pops out. It's a pain to have to fix one ear every couple of seconds and my husband has had the same problem, so I know it's not just me. The band that connects the two should be adjustable or something so that it fits closer to the head. August 18, 2012
