The Best Considering Weight/Size
Thanks to Sony for thinking outside the box. This is the only laptop on the market that is 13.1" and has a full HD resolution (other than previous Z). It's also the only laptop this size and weight to have an i7 processor - considering it's thinner than the Mac Air. And again...it's the only laptop that can support up to 3 external monitors without having to buy anything extra.
I love this computer so much that I bought a second one as back up. I rely on it so much that I can't live without it for a day - just in case it needs repair or I drop it.
Too many un-warranted complaints on other reviews. Sound sucks, but you just can't fit big speakers on such a powerful and small computer. You can always use wired or bluetooth headphones, external speakers for good sound. I don't need a larger/heavier laptop for good sound. Trackpad isn't as good as the Z1 series, but it does the job fine.
This isn't the perfect laptop by any means, but considering it's the only laptop in the world that is so light and thin that has so much power, HD resolution, and can run 3 external monitors, then you won't find anything else remotely close to the Z2 laptop.
Bravo to Sony for thinking outside the box!

Piece of Trash
I bought this laptop and spent almost $4000 for it so I got the top of the line. Thinking there is no way it can suck for $4000 but boy was I wrong. I have had to send it in a Total of 6 times for repairs.
1. Screen Broke
2. Hard Drive Failure
3. Hard Drive Failure
4. 1 Broken key on the Keyboard ( They have to replace the entire keyboard)
5. Had to Replace the Mother Board
6. Fan Broke.
Had the computer less than a year.

Bulky chic...
The Z series is sexy and slick... this we all know. The computers in this series do get better as the years progress (graphics, SSD etc.) but in terms of basic functions, this model does not hold up.
The sound is as 'tinny' as the rest of the computers in this series but one could at least hear the sound coming out of the older models. The volume is extremely low. Sure, if you are okay with dragging around a speaker to plug into your laptop then this computer is great.... but for the price it is not worth it at all.
The dock is also a problem in terms of bulk because you cannot use it unless is is plugged in. This means playing a CD/DVD (which may be outdated but still necessary to some) has to be done in the presence of an AC outlet. This also means that you are traveling with 2 or 3 more pieces.
I love the Z series normally. I swear by them. Ill be honest, I love the look.. it cannot be beat but adding an external speaker of the top of the screen killed it for me.

The Docking Station is AWFUL
This is my fourth Vaio Z - obviously I loved the other ones. Not this one. The design is just awful.
I thought I could live with the docking station, though the point of a lightweight computer is to carry LESS stuff when I travel. But the docking station doesn't work unless plugged in, so you can't use a CD or DVD unless you have AC power. So no movies on planes or access to CDs when not at the desk. The cable is huge, and is a pain to disconnect (you have to power down or turn off half your stuff). It is also short, so you have to find a place for the laptop and the docking station wherever you are (ie, not your lap.)
The graphics resolution is very fine, but that means most of the apps appear in 2pt type - so you have to stop and change the resolution by going to the control panel and display, etc. A real pain. Not worth the money - I should have bought a MacBook Pro.
