Quite Impressive
I recently received this steering wheel as a collection from the previous wheels that I buy for every new GT game. I must say, this wheel is quite the realism. By tightening it to my table, I am able to do pretty much anything; like driving a real car. The design is interesting, though mildly complicated, with the button layout all over the wheel. I do not like the fact that it turns both opposite directions every time the game starts and when the system turn both on and off. It's very loud, with all the banging twice. Other than that, I must say, for $140, it worth it. I will be awaiting the full driving experience with the leather seats-6 gear shift-clutch- set up when I have the money.

I don't even own this product yet but I am submitting this review to counterbalance the person who gave it a 2 star rating because it fell off his lap. The wheel isn't designed to sit on someone's lap. It's designed to be fixed onto something sturdy for the very reason the previous reviewer found. Look, there are three or four wheels that are available today (2011). The Driving Force, the G-27, G-25, the Thur$tma$ter, and the Fanatec Porsche wheel. The Driving Force is around half the cost of the others (note the $$ signs). Consider this wheel to be an entry level wheel for driving simulation games like Gran Turismo 4 and 5. For me and for now, I am getting this wheel because it is good for the money. Please don't place it on your lap and expect it to work. Attach it to something sturdy. Search for gaming wheel stands and you'll find plenty of options, including designs to build it yourself.

OK
It was ok as far as driving in the game but i like to drift and when i drift using a steering wheel i tend to turn alot. It has fallen off my lap about 5 times. I love how the stick is right next to the wheel but i pull and push hard when my adrenalin is pumping.
