The InstallCard™ includes labor to mount the aftermarket audio/video receiver with a vehicle specific installation kit2 (sold separately) to ensure your new in-dash receiver is properly and securely mounted.
InstallerNet™ provides a lifetime installation warranty3 for as long as you own the vehicle.
The InstallCard™ includes labor to connect the aftermarket in dash audio/video receiver’s wiring harness to a vehicle specific wiring harness adapter1 (sold separately) that allows installers to wire your new receiver into the vehicle without altering factory wiring harnesses.
After the installation has been completed, an installer will demonstrate the basic operations to you and answer any questions you may have.
-If the in-dash car stereo has a satellite antenna that requires exterior vehicle mounting, additional parts and labor may be required. -OnStar and other factory integrated vehicle systems that play through the factory radio may require integration modules to maintain functionality and will require additional parts and labor. -If the factory wires or dashboard has been cut or damaged due to a previous installation attempts or theft, additional parts and labor may be required. -Some vehicles equipped with factory installed premium sound systems (Bose, Infinity, Monsoon, etc.) may require the purchase of an additional amplifier bypass harness or additional labor costs to rewire the factory amplifier to maintain amplifier functionality. -If there is no installation kit available for your vehicle application and the installer needs to fabricate a custom-mounting bracket, additional parts and labor may be required. -To integrate factory car stereo steering wheel controls with an aftermarket radio, additional parts and labor will be required. -Some vehicles may require additional mounting brackets and labor due to the complexity of the aftermarket radio installation or removal of the existing factory radio. -European cars (BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Porsche, etc.) and some exotic vehicles may require additional labor due to the complexity of their wiring.
Important Notice: -InstallCards™ are not eligible for refunds once they are activated. If equipment is determined to be defective during the process of the installation or immediately after while still at the install shop the installer will remove and reinstall the equipment at no charge. If equipment is determined to be defective after leaving the install shop or within a period of no longer than one year and within the manufacturer's warranty, InstallerNet™ will cover 50% of the charge to remove and reinstall replacement equipment. If the customer chooses to remove non-defective equipment (swapping for a different brand, for example), InstallerNet™ will charge for a completely new installation.
Defective Equipment: -If the equipment installed is found to be defective, or becomes defective after installation, the following apply: -If the equipment is determined to be defective during the process of installation, or immediately after (before the customer leaves the facility), the installer will remove and reinstall the replacement equipment at no charge. If the customer leaves the installer's facility, and discovers the equipment is defective, the customer will be responsible for 50% of the charge to have it removed and a replacement item reinstalled. -If the equipment is determined to be defective within a period of no longer that one year, and within the manufacturer's warranty, InstallerNet™ will cover 50% of the charge to remove and reinstall replacement equipment. If the customer chooses to remove non-defective equipment (exchanging for a different brand, for example), InstallerNet™ will charge for a completely new installation.
