Great computer I have had a sony vaio since sony laptops first came out. They just seem to get better and better over the years. I just retired my last sony vaio laptop, it still works but programming is out of date seeing how it is six years old but has ran most programs to date. So program expectancy on these is awesome. This is a great installment to your home if you are a student or gamer. December 18, 2010
Great Laptop for the Money I purchased this computer as an early Christmas gift. I previously owned a Dell and HP, and I was amazed at the set-up speed. I saw a negative review of the screen, but that isn't the case with mine. It is bright, crisp and clear, and with a simple HDMI cable, doubles as a BluRay player for the bedroom TV. So far, everything is fast and reliable, and the CD/DVD drive is much quieter than I expected. I enjoy the large screen and the separate numeric keypad. Impressive machine. My only complaint is the mouse buttons have a "plasticy" click, but I either double-tap the pad or use my Bluetooth wireless mouse anyway, so it isn't an issue. Great job, Sony! December 10, 2010
