Great Notebook I have been using this laptop for almost a year now. I paid $700.00 for it and it as been worth every penny. I have just bought an 8GB ram upgrade for it ($40) and it runs just as fast if not better than my wife Mac Book. I recommend this laptop or any Sony laptop if you're looking for a reliable workhorse. Awesome! I love this laptop even though I've only been using it for about 3 months. The older reviews said that this doesn't read DVDs. It actually does. I use this to watch my DVDs instead of our TV. And this has bluetooth, which is a plus cause I hate cables. The speaker is not so great. But I usually use earphones or I plug in a better speaker so it's a huge prob to me. The power button was placed in a very bad location though. I sometimes accidentally turn off my laptop when adjusting the screen. But, fortunately, when I turn it on again, everything goes back to normal. I don't have to boot it up again. I recommend this laptop! Btw, I'm an incoming college student. Not a professional or anything. July 23, 2011
Great Computer It's a great computer, at least for the things that i need it for, the graphics are very good, with my old computer i couldn't reproduce 720p or 1080p videos or some games, with this one i can, the same goes to the processor. i have to disagree with the user from the other review because my dvd/cd player works very well. The cons are the Sound, i don't know if is because i haven't done the configuration well but it has a little distortion, and it doesn't have Bluetooth which is a big con for me because i don't like cables.
