Great for on the go! Well, I needed a compact, lightweight, and powerful machine that was ready to take on the world. Between work, school, and the Air National Guard, my notebook has taken on the old slogan, "don't leave home without it!" I needed a notebook that could multitask, small enough to transport, but not too small to see the display and type without cramped fingers, yet have a battery life that that would last for just about any military flight. The VPCX135KX fits this niche fairly well. Its multitasking and performance ability compromises with the battery life. It size and weight with the standard battery is literally the same as a Mead paper notebook, minus the three-hole punch and perforated pages! My only complaint is the Intel GMA 500 driver for the display. To conserve on battery life, it is rather sluggish if you enable the Windows 7 Aero desktop features. Yet, one can adapt and overcome. If I had to do it all over again, I would still buy this little machine! December 18, 2010
