not bad
the sound quality is pretty good its really what i expected for that price and from Sony so im happy with that, but it bleeds quite a bit witch is something i also expected from opened era cushions so that doesn't bother me either, they look pretty cool that electric yellow and black really pops, the cord is nice and tick it looks quite fortified and sturdy and its at a length i like, i find them pretty comfortable because they are light weight and very padded at the ears. I am happy with my purchase, i hope they last me a long time.

Low sound quality with lots of bleed
The ear pads are scratchy like really cheap headphones (I know they ARE cheap but I expect more from Sony).
I had to turn the volume to 25 (volume goes to 30max) instead of my regular 10-15 to hear anything because all of the sound bleeds from the excess foam on the head piece. I got so many dirty looks and was "shushed" on the bus because everyone on the whole bus could hear the music.
I tried them at home where it's quiet and on a medium volume setting my friend can hear every single note from across the room.
The sound quality is extremely poor. It's about equal to $5.00 headphones from department stores. I tried setting the EQ on my mp3 player but there is no way to make these sound good...all of the high and low end is lost. Vocals sound muffled, bass is non-existant.
Very disappointed and hoping I can return them otherwise they're just going in the garbage :(

Beat up resistant
These headphones are by far the most durable headphones i've had. being a teenager (who tries to take care of stuff) they find their way into my backpack which i throw into places and being in the front pocket, they take a beating. the only damage is the foam is starting to tear a tiny bit (1/8 in.). There are very unnoticeable scratches in the rubber. Also the wire is flat, so you can put as many knots in as you want and you can undo it in less than 1 min. Trebles and mids are okay, bass booms, overall great, durable design. Highly recommend these headphones. These appeal to teens, and these last forever!!!!!!!!
