Good, but not great... I traded in my Bose for these because the Bose earphones' volume control would quit working after less than 10 uses. I use my earphones almost every day to run or workout in and I just don't think any manufacturer has got it 100% for a sports atmosphere. The sweat just kills the volume control eventually. Sony is the best out of all that I've tried in that the sound is phenomenally better and the volume control worked for about 3 months. I still like these the best and am going to call Sony now to see if they will provide a full exchange for a new pair or at least a partial credit. I won't buy any other brand truthfully! One of the best from Sony I've had both high-end Shure earphones and low-end iPod earphones. The Sony is my favorite pair. Sounds is excellent and vintage Sony, with bass full and strong without lots of tweaking to get it. Earphones are lightweight, and they even work well to block out noise on planes. Lots of the more expensive earphones are "touchy" and require exact placement in the ear to get good bass sound. I know from personal experience. After a while, it gets to be a hassle! These are easy to use and great sounding! Totally happy with the sound. As a bonus, the controls work completely as advertised with the iPhone and iPod. August 4, 2011
Best earbuds I've ever owned These are the best earbuds I have ever owned. The sound quality is amazing and they work great with my iPhone 3GS. I read in a previous review about a problem with the volume control. I have not experienced any problems with that or the design as a whole. I would recommend these if anything for the sound quality!
