Powerfull amp I have had this amp for 3 months now, working power full and great. But now i had to remove the amp and hooked it back up and now it doesn't perform as well and i have to send it to texas for a exchange/repair and sony's service center. I got a 3 year warranty so nothing is going to cost me but the shipping. December 13, 2011

1. CEA-2006 Compliant — Standardized “Voluntary” Testing & Measurement Methods for Mobile Audio Amplifiers. This standard advocates a uniform method for determining an amplifier’s RMS power and signal-to-noise ratio. Using 14.4 volts, RMS watts are measured into a 4-ohm impedance load at 1 percent Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) plus noise, at a frequency range (for general purpose amplifiers) of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz.
