Excellent multi-function receiver- has everything I have had the receiver for about 7 months now. It is in an all Sony set up including the XA5400ES SACD player, which this receiver can connect to via HDMI, a real plus, the BX-57 Blu-ray player with wireless connectivity and a 52" Bravia HDTV. The receiver has tremendous capability and flexibility. It acts as a control hub for all the other components and has an excellent multi-function remote with macros to program all the normal activities: watch TV, watch a movie, etc. And last, and most important, the sound quality is a revelation. I have had much more expensive and complicated home theater components that do the same job as a receiver and while I wanted the simplicity of a receiver again I didn't expect to to sound as good as the much more expensive separates, but it is just and good and the multi-channel SACD playback or DTS HD are the best multi-channel playback I have ever heard. And given my experience, that says a lot. I give this receiver my highest recommendation. January 28, 2011
