Mp3 Walkman Speaker Dock SRS-NWGU50
Purchased for use with NWZ-S545 (16G) player. Works great, sounds great, (at least to me), plenty loud enough for 10w/10w (20w) system. Really glad I purchased it, and transaction w/Sony smooth & quick delivery w/tracking. Only problem w/manual did not list model S545 or S544 as compatible player(s) on chart for S- series players. Also had to use dock attachment that came w/S545, the two attachments provided are not exactly for S545/S544, I guess that's why it came with one of its own. Remote is nice, although the +/- folder buttons do not seem to work w/S545, the manual notes do mention this. All in all very, very, pleased with purchase & dock.

Best Walkman speaker yet
I've purchased a couple of small speakers to listen to my Sony MP3 player, but they both came up short in sound quality. This is the one I should have bought right from the start. The sound quality is excellent. And as long as there is an electrical outlet near by, I listen to it both inside & outside my home whenever I want to crank up the sounds.

Great Sound Poor connectivity
I love Sony over iPod. No fancy bells and whistles, pure sound and the sound is superb and the operation and organisation is top notch. However, if you have the E series, Sony have blundered badly by switching to a mini USB without providing an input for the mini USB socket in the wonderful speaker dock. Which means that you have to rely upon the inferior aux input in the back and no remote capability, Bad move Sony, in an otherwise perfect product. Love the drag and drop loading and the improved walkman menu functions. I have six Walkmans, including two S Serieswith the built-in speakers. Awesome! I sincerely hope that future speaker docks will include a slot for the mini USB plug-in. Otherwise the Walkman has the iPod beaten on all other aspects.
