Low Quality; Poor Sound
The Walkman clock radio docks available in the USA have gone to an all-time low if this is our only option. There is a single speaker that is mounted on the rear of the device pointing backwards. The sound quality from this speaker is comparable to my mobile phone (this is a bad thing).
If you use this with a Walkman (like I do), you will be forced to use the Walkman for music selection. There is absolutely no way to do it from the remote. I have a touch screen A Series Walkman, and it is insecurely docked into this. I have to use two hands to use the Walkman while it is docked into this. Otherwise, I may touch the screen to have it fall out of the flimsy dock.
Finally, waking up to your music is a nice idea, but the Walkman alarm will not function with Sensme. When my Walkman has a song paused during Sensme, the clock radio will activate the Walkman at the alarm time, but it remains paused. This issue only happens for Sensme. If I have a song paused and ready to go in a regular song view, the alarm does work.
This is a really low quality device. Don't waste your money.

Great Buy
The clock overall has a nice appearance. The background color and smooth and not too harsh for the nights. The clock has two alarms which allow to set one for weekdays and weekends. The sound is clear and loud, it was better than I expected.
The Battery was dead out of the box. The attachment for the Walkman is a little flimsy, I expected better from Sony. The setup was a little frustrating in the beginning, but only because it really allows you to personalize your wants.
Overall, I am pretty satisfied with the product . I just wish the attachment was constructed better and that setup was made easier.

A worthwhile investment
I must say I could not be more pleased with the product. Instructions were clear and my Walkman fit perfectly. The adjustable brightness is a huge bonus and the remote that comes with it, while limited in features, provides convenience. The dual alarm settings provide excellent variety. Item arrived within 5 business days of order placement.
My only complaint would be the shortness of the AC cord, I don't like running an extension cord. Other than that this was a fantastic buy.

almost exactly what i wanted
easy to use after reading the manual.
sound sounds great for a bed side device.Found the Ericsson phone jack useless.I enjoy waking up to my music.
