Great Chistmas Present
I received an e-reader along with this case for Christmas. I really needed something that would help me when I was up at the cabin without electricity. The reader is perfect. This case was needed to provide the light required to read while in the dark. Couldn't ask for a better gadget. Light is strong enough to see but not so strong as to cause glare. Great protection for the reader and it looks great. Good quality.

This is the greatest!
I currently use this cover and have been for the last 4 months. I also have the neoprene cover that you slip the reader into. As far as I am concerned, this is the one to invest in. It not only gives you a powerful light, but due to the durability of the cover, you keep your reader protected. I just put it in my purse, or briefcase, and off I go!

wonderful accessory
I am so glad I bought this. the leather is very high quality and really makes the reader feels more "book"-ish in my hand. The light is just perfect. it's not so bright that it creates glare and not to dim so that you strain your eyes. I aimed my light right at the top of the reader and it illuminates the entire screen with zero glare. Very nice accessory and provides much more protection for the reader than the pouch that comes with the reader. LOVE IT! The light runs on one AAA battery and lasts quite awhile (I haven't even run through my first battery yet and it's been 2 weeks.)

Nice Light
I like this cover. It serves a dual purpose. It provides protection for my Pocket Edition Reader, and the obvious, It allows for night reading, when the lights are out. It takes 1 AAA battery. I can't remember if the battery came with it or not, but I believe it did. If the lamp isn't positioned correctly, you will get glare from the light, which is expected. I'd rather have this, than a built in backlight on my reader, because I believe if the reader had a backlight, it would play havoc on the battery. The cover, is a hard cover, which provides even more protection for the reader. I believe Sony could do a little better on the price.
