Highly disappointed I bought SR390 a month ago and I am extremely dissatisfied with the laptop. The one I ordered online had problems with the right speakers and so I had to return it and I bought another one at the Sony store. After 3-4 days, I realized that this one too has problems with the speakers in that there is a squeaky sound that comes at high volume and also the sound is overall very low as compared to my earlier laptop. I had to leave the country for 2-3 months,so till then I am stuck with this laptop and cant even get it repaired as there is no international warranty. I would suggest anyone who is getting this laptop to be completely satisfied with the sound system before they pay for the product, as it is anyways overpriced. Positives include: Light Weight and screen size. May 31, 2009
Sony Vaio SR Series The windows Vista password system locked me out after 2 days,. I had to go to RESTORE date to problem solve but then that deleted all my Office/Front Page/Virus software I had previously installed. The speakers a little bit "tinny" in sound BUT I love the design. No handbook with system, you have to use electronic oinline for features etc. Very lightweight (3+ lbs). I will have to give the laptop more time to better evaluate further. The keys are good to work with as is the glide pad. April 5, 2009
