the PlayStation3 80GB is the greatest heat generator. You can use it to make a scramble egg meal or use it as a heater to heat your room. I am so dissapointed.

You have to remember the origanals were around $600. Sony had to cut stuff to compete with the xbox 360. The average buyer doesn't care what the get just how cheap it is therefore explaining the anomily called the Dollar Tree.

Worst Experience with Sony Ever
This experience with Sony makes me question the entire brand promise of Sony. I have always been a loyal Sony customer. They disabled the PS2 game playback feature on PS3 when it was enabled last year. I have too much invested in my PS2 library to not be backwards compatible.
It is one thing if you can't support backwards compatibility, but to support it and then disable it, is beyond explanation.
I was planning to buy a new flat screen as well and was looking at Sony, but with this experience, I will look at Samsung and Panasonic.
I wonder if Sony knows how much this stupid move is costing them in customer loyalty in other areas of their business.
