Record from afar. Through Bluetooth® wireless technology for secure recordings, the ECM-HW2 wireless microphone communicates from distances up to approximately 100 feet. It also features two-way communication, and you can shoot while still talking to a friend up to 100 meters from the camcorder. The microphone and receiver unit are even equipped with earphone jacks that correspond to "5.1ch Center Mic" mode.

Working range is up to 100ft (30m). This is the approximate communication distance with an unobstructed view between microphone and camcorder.

Wireless at its Best I have used this microphone for two years. It eats batteries so use only the longest lasting you can buy. Alkaline will fail in under an hour. I usually can get about 3 hours from top enders. The subject should not wear this microphone just place it close to them. It is so sensitive that it picks up the clothes rustling when wore. Using this mike and the one built on the handycam in combination will capture everyone?s voice in a typical classroom without effort. Very clear quality. September 28, 2012

I got the mic for doing remote interviews. We do pregame football interviews and this unit is great. I only thing I think that could be better is a larger mic but does great as it is aswell April 25, 2010
