The HDV HVR-M15AU digital HD video cassette recorder is the enhanced successor to the HVR-M15U. This new VTR features HDV native progressive format capability, providing a stunning 1080p image at 24, 25 or 30 frames per second. It is compatible with standard and mini cassettes, providing extended recording times up to 276 minutes. BEST HDV DECK I HAVE This little compact HDV deck is the best I have ever used for non-linear editing with Final Cut Pro HD2 and a Mac Pro Computer. The compact size makes it so easy to use. I will also be buying another unit this year with my 8 editing suite. I have 7 units in editing bays now. Best around. June 9, 2009
