Don't expect much. Does it's job with limitations.
1. Increase the brightness of the screen and you can pretty much make out what is being viewed from any angle. For the privacy filter to work properly you will have to keep the brightness less than 50%!
2. The brighter pixels will appear multicolored if you observe carefully. This is probably due to the refraction of the light from each pixel as it travels through the privacy screen. Nevertheless it is very annoying.
-- I will still keep it because I think "something is better than nothing". I will probably use it only when absolutely necessary and within it's limitations.

Great for Students
This privacy filter provides the user with a variety of benefits. The first, and most obvious, is the ability to surf the net or check your email with privacy from the prying eyes of your neighbors at a table or desk. It also allows you to work with sensitive materials without worrying about other people, not in privity, viewing your documents. It does, however, lead to a bit of suspicion. I've had people next to me say to me, "woah, that screen on your pc is weird, like, I can't see it!" This ultimately leads to an awkward moment where you try to explain that you have a privacy filter that keeps people like them from sneaking a peek at your computer screen. The only other downside is that people directly behind you or above and behind you can still see your screen clearly. So if you work with people above and behind you, and need work privacy often, there might be a need for a chiropractor in your future.
