Great
Picked this unit up to compliment my 52" Sony Bravia TV and am very happy. I am using an older receiver without HDMI inputs so the digital audio output for sound was great to use. It synch'ed up with the TV (after turning on HDMI control on the TV AND DVD player) and works well. I like the 'memory' function that it remembers the last 6 DVDs played and the stopping point if you remove the DVD before finishing. I only gave the design 4 stars because the front panel display is small and hard to read from across the room.

Very Good!
The only reason I did'nt give 5 stars in performance is because, my dvd's I made myself don't show much improvement. But, store bought DVD's are truly improved.

Great sub-Blu-Ray DVD player
This DVD player only upscales when you have an HDMI cable, otherwise it is just another DVD player with component, composite, or S-video connections. If you use HDMI, however, the picture quality on LCD TVs is wonderful in comparison to composite video, and makes this unit a very good buy for the price.

wonderfull up conversion
This is an outstanding dvd player.Finally-a dvd
player that actually does up convert to high
definition!! Also get the full 5.1 sound from
my dvd. No "zipped","compressed" low quality.
I have a Sony 46V2500 tv so am used to a good
1080p blue ray picture. This little player puts out
a picture rear to the blue ray. The engineers that
disigned this little beauty should look at some of
your blue ray for upgrade.
