Good Value
This is my second purchase of these earbuds---my last pair lasted at least 3 years with everyday wear. These earbuds offer great sound at a great price and the design fits my ears comfortably. Thanks Sony for continuing with this great product.

very satisfied
I usually don?t write product reviews, but this great product has compelled me to do so.
I picked up a pair, after my old earbuds died. I didn?t expect these to last more than a couple months. I am very rough with my earbuds, it?s normal that I go to bed using them and wake up with them in a tangled mess. Much to my surprise, unlike my last 5 purchases, these kept on working after 2 months, then 6. It?s now been more than a year, and they are still working good as new. Durability gets an A+
Now I?m sure you are wondering about the sound quality. Well let me tell you, these will not disappoint. The bass is very prominent, but not over powering or muddy. The rest of the spectrum is well presented also, with good midtones and sparkling highs. Sound gets an A+
Let me tell you, you won?t know comfort until you first put these on. They protrude into your ear more than earbuds, but less than in ear headphones. I find it the perfect balance. Even after 3+ hours of listening, my ears aren?t complaining. Comfort gets an A+
The one and only con I found with these, is that they don?t block out ambient noise. If you plan to use these in a noisy environment, such as a gym, there are better choices.
So if you are considering buying these, I strongly encourage you to do so. Nothing else that I have found can match these in either quality, value, comfort, or performance.

I RECEIVE MAIL PACKAGE IN GOOD CONDITION, BUT ONCE I OPEN THE PACKAGE ONLY TO FIND THAT THE MERCHADISE PACKAGE IT OPEN AND DAMAGE. THIS WAS THE SECOND TIME I RECEIVE A DAMAGE MERCHANDISE PACKAGE. I DEFINITELY WON'T ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. THE SHIP WAS LOCATED IN CARSON CITY, CA. OTHER THEN THAT THE MERCHANDISE IS WORKING, BUT WHO IN THIS WORLD LIKE TO RECEIVE A POOR PACKAGE QUALITY AND THIS CAN NOT GUAREENTED THAT THE MERCHADISE WILL WORK IN GOOD CONDITION? I DID NOT REPORT IT TO SONY, BUT IT IS GOOD TO POST IT ON REVIEW TO SHARE IT WITH OTHER SO THEY WILL KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT OUT OF IT.

Sony MDR-ED12LP
Buying quality earphones is not easy. However, these exceed my expectations for fit and super excellent sound. I thought my Stennheiser MX-500 were good until I received these (better fit, slightly superior sound). Now I'm wondering why the Sony MDR EX-700 are so different (limited by heavy bass; less crisp).
